Saba hotels - always the right choice
Surrounded by lush well kept tropical gardens the Cottage Club is your tropical home from home, palm trees wave gently in the Caribbean breeze... Small, intimate, and immersed in Saba's architectural and aesthetic traditions, The Cottage Club hotel complex occupies about .2 hectares (1/2 acre) of steeply sloping and carefully landscaped terrain, a 2-minute walk from the center of the island's capital. Designed of local stone, and set at an altitude above the other buildings of the complex, the lobby is filled with a collection of island antiques and lace curtains. Each medium-size studio apartment has a semiprivate patio, a living-room area, and a queen-size bed. Bathrooms have showers and are well maintained. These units are housed in clapboard replicas of antique cottages -- two studios per cottage -- with red roofs, green shutters, white walls, and yellow trim. The interiors are breezy, airy, and comfortable. If you'd like a room with an ocean view, request no. 1 or 2. There's no bar or restaurant on the premises, but a nearby supermarket will deliver supplies on request. A colonial-style natural stone plantation house is where you'll find the reception and lobby. It can easily be accessed directly from both the car park and from the property by climbing a short flight of stairs. The reception opening hours are from 8.00am-6.00pm so feel free to drop by if you need help with anything; be it booking a taxi, advice on dining, trails, arranging dives with your dive center, renting a vehicle (Caja's car rental can be arranged through us for only $56.50 a day) or just a chat. The management of The Cottage Club live on the first floor of the main house, so if you have any problems outside normal reception hours there will always be someone around to help you! The reception has its own lounge area decorated in the colonial style, complete with comfortable furniture, newspapers and magazines, you're more than welcome to hang out here to discuss your day's activities or just chill and catch up on the world off island. The owners of the establishment are three Saban brothers (Gary, Mark, and Dean), whose families all seem to help out. Facilities include outdoor pool; coin-operated laundry. Cottage Club has 10 Saban gingerbread style cottages each with Queen sized beds (one with a King sized Bed), fully equipped kitchens, dining areas, cable TV, and telephones. There is daily a maid service that takes care of clean towels, turning down beds & tidying Kitchen Areas.
